Morpeth School, Bethnal Green, London, 15 Dec (students presentation)
A sound art education project working with BTEC Creative Audio studying at Morpeth School in Bethnal Green, London. In collaboration with Morpeth School Music Department and with funding from by Tower Hamlets Art and Music Education Service (THAMES); Jack James curated weekly activities for sixth form students through a programme of lessons, workshops and trips to exhibitions whilst supporting the development of independent and group projects. Projects where presented in an end of term event in the school theatre called A-Sounding attended by Morpeth students, staff and visitors to the school. The event including a light installation, video works, field recordings made on and off school grounds and and an experimental group performance priece using hand built contact microphones.

An impulse response library recreating spaces on Morpeth School grounds is available to download. Using these files it is possible to recreate the different acoustic spaces using convulsion the reverb plugins.
